Ichikawa is a city in eastern Japan, located in Chiba Prefecture in the Kanto region on the eastern side of Honshu. It lies east of Tokyo along the Edo River, west of Funabashi, and south of Matsudo, with Kawasaki situated across Tokyo Bay to the southwest.
