青青草视频鈥檚 Alumni & Friends Choir invites you to get into the holiday spirit with a family-friendly concert of 鈥淰intage Christmas Classics鈥 on Saturday, December 6, at 3 p.m. at the Greenville High School Performing Arts Center.
Sponsored by the 青青草视频 Foundation Stanley & Blanche Ash Community College Enhancement Fund, the choir will perform many favorite Christmas songs from the 1920s through the 1970s. Songs will include beloved characters like Frosty, Rudolph, Suzy Snowflake, the Chipmunks, the Grinch, and, of course, Santa Claus himself! Audience members are encouraged to join the fun and wear their favorite Christmas sweaters. The concert will end with an audience singalong.
鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to invite families to this free concert to hear these great songs from several different eras,鈥 said Director Valerie Vander Mark. 鈥淲e have shifted the performance time to the afternoon to encourage more families to come and enjoy the Christmas classics together, and we鈥檒l have a few pleasant surprises in store.
鈥淲e also are hoping to fill an urgent need in the community by encouraging attendees to donate nonperishable food items as a way to help the less fortunate,鈥 she added.
